Martine Lund Hoel é uma compositora , multi- instrumentista norueguesa,mescla os sons da musica barroca, musica celta o folk e os sons nórdicos. Martine traz o antigo património cultural mais próxima dos nossos muitos e variados sons de musica e usa o violino Hardanger em formas não convencionais apresentando uma sonoridade diferente. Seu objetivo é desenvolver um novo tipo de música folclórica norueguesa através da mistura de diferentes gêneros musicais e experimentar com diferentes ritmos e tonalidade efeitos. Tem um vasto repertório que engloba desde a tradicional música folclórica ,e composições próprias, e pode ser melhor descrita como uma fusão dos nórdicos, dos Balcãs, celta e música barroca
